Interesting idea. Some blog software will create a comments feed for you. For blogs that provide that, you can already use Feed Crier to monitor the conversation. I’m now tracking comments to this blog post using Feed Crier.

Publishing comment responses back might be more difficult, however. To prevent comment spam, blogging software goes to great lengths to block comment submissions that aren’t submitted directly through the web form.

What you could do, however, is create your own blog post through IMified and trackback your blog post to the original post.

We’ll have to kick this around a bit and see what we can come up with.
